We specialize in patenting of inventions, utility models, and designs in the countries of the former USSR, including Belarus, Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and also in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. 

According to the Eurasian Patent Convention nine countries, such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan can be covered by one Eurasian patent, which is valid in all countries for three years from the international filing date, and then can be maintained in the selected countries simply by due paying of annuities. 
We file PCT applications as well.

May be filed latter in 2-3 months:

We do not require any paper documents for entering a national or regional phase of a PCT patent application. We need only the PCT application number or the WO publication number. Other documents can be sent later. 

 A Power of Attorney and a Russian translation can be submitted within 2 months after the filing date

EURASIAN PATENTS 
  We are registered as Eurasian Patent Attorneys and can represent our clients before the Eurasian Patent Office. So we invite your attention to general advantages of a Eurasian Patent: 

  • An EA patent may cover the territory with population comparative with the USA and Canada. 
  • Only ONE patent application should be filed. It is NOT necessary to enter national phases in all contracting states. 
  • Only a Russian translation is required for all states. 
  • The states are designated AFTER grant. 
  • EAPO is an International Organization, independent of all political or economical situations in contracting States. 
  • Accelerated examination is now available for the additional fee.   

A PCT application may enter its Regional Stage in EAPO in 31 (thirty one) month from its priority date. The required documents for filing a Eurasian patent application are : 

  • PCT application as published; 
  • International Search Report; if any; 
  • Preliminary Examination Report, if any; 
  • Russian translation of the specification; 
  • power of attorney (simply signed); 
  • document, certifying payment of fees 

Duration of protection is 20 years   

RUSSIAN or/and BELARUSIAN PATENTS

The required documents for Immediate filing a patent application are: 

  • specification with claims and drawings; 
  • full names and addresses of the applicant and the inventors; 

 To be filed later - Russian translation of the description; 
- power of attorney (simply signed); 
  For PCT applications: 

  • PCT application as published; if any 
  • International Search Report; if any; 
  • Preliminary Examination Report, if any; 
  • Russian translation of the decsription; 
  • power of attorney( simply signed); 

Kindly note that under the Patent Laws of Russia and Belarus, a PCT application may enter its National Phase in 31 (thirty-one) months from its priority date. 

  Duration of Patents - 20 years from the date of national/international filing.
